Julia had the great opportunity to attend the course "Analysis of genome-wide association study (GWAS) data with a focus on the prediction of complex traits" at Aarhus University, Denmark. Here, she extended her knowledge in the field of genomics and learned how to analyze hundreds of thousands of genetic variants across many genomes with a specific trait (e.g., height or a particular disease). She will use this new knowledge within her research in the field of immunology.
