For the past two weeks Stephan has been travelling to the United States to visit Michigan State University and the University of Michigan. 

First, he was invited to the BEACON Center for the Study of Evolution in Action.

Following that, he worked on the 2022 GPT workshop on Genetic Programming Theory & Practice. This year's GPTP was held in-person at the Weiser Hall at the University of Michigan. Stephan was part of the core organizational committee.
