Christmas is getting closer and offers great opportunities to look back at the past year, but also to celebrate and be merry. The members of the Bioninformatics Research Group were invited to no less than three Christmas parties this year.

The first celebration included only the members of the group. A visit of the traditional Christmas market and the Wärmepol in Linz with punsch was followed by a relaxed end to the evening at the 2 Raum Bar.

Two days later, all employees of the Hagenberg Faculty were invited to the Faculty Christmas party. Stephan was honoured for working at the university for ten years. At an indoor Christmas market, the staff enjoyed an evening with amazing food and great conversations.

On 19. December, the Christmas celebration for all faculties of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria took place at the Redoutensäle in Linz. At the celebration, Stephan was honoured for his habilitation. After interesting speeches by the university management, a buffet with great food invited to stay and enjoy time with colleagues.
