From 26th-28th September, the German Conference on Bioinformatics (GCB) took place in Vienna with many interesting talks on the state of bioinformatics and computationally generated insights. The topics included many fields also researched in our research group and provided a great base to share ideas with fellow researchers. Stephan, Julia, and Georg were proud to present posters at the conference, which were received excellently. In addition, it was a small Hagenberg reunion as they met former students and colleagues at the conference.
