PhoStar Paper Published at Journal of Proteome Research

“PhoStar: Identifying Tandem Mass Spectra of Phosphorylated Peptides before Database Search” has been accepted by Journal of Proteome Research!

We are proud to announce that our paper “PhoStar: Identifying Tandem Mass Spectra of Phosphorylated Peptides before Database Search” has been accepted for publication in Journal of Proteome Research! This paper, written by our colleagues Sebastian Dorl, Stephan Winkler, and Viktoria Dorfer in collaboration with our research partner Karl Mechtler at IMP, reflects our research in the identification of proteins carrying post-translational modifications. PhoStar is a tool for identifying spectra that originate from phosphorylated peptides before database using supervised machine learning.
