New proteomics paper published!

We are extremely happy to announce that our latest work in computational proteomics has been published in Nature Communications! In this collaborative effort between the Proteomics Team at the Bioinformatics Research Group Hagenberg (Micha, Louise, Sabrina, Stephan, and Viktoria) and the Proteomics Tech Hub at the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (Fränze, Manuel, and Karl) we propose pyXLMS - a python package and web application to streamline the analysis of protein-protein crosslinking data. pyXLMS enables scientists even without bioinformatics knowledge to conduct in-depth crosslink analyses and shifts the focus from data transformation to data interpretation, allowing to go effectively from data to actionable biological insights. We position pyXLMS as a foundational building block for the future of crosslinking data analysis pipelines.

You can read the publication about pyXLMS at Nature Communications and more about pyXLMS itself at pyxlms.dev, or our open-source GitHub repository.
