Farewell Sigi!

We are very sad to announce that Sigrid Klein has left the Bioinformatics Research Group.

Sigi joined our team in October 2024, working part-time alongside her Master's studies in Data Science and Engineering. She was part of our team in the field of Genomics and greatly supportet our SigSim project about which she also wrote her master thesis. Further, she supported our LeiVMed project where she designed and implemented a new interface and new functionalities to support the collection and documentation of medical cases.

We would like to thank Sigi for her great work and commitment and wish her all the very best for her future career and personal endeavors. We are confident that she will continue to achieve great success in all her future pursuits.
