Bioinformatics Team at dHealth Conference
Three members of our Bioinformatics research team recently participated in the dHealth Conference, one of Austria’s key events connecting health informatics and digital health research. The conference brings together researchers, healthcare professionals, industry representatives, and decision-makers to discuss current developments and innovations in digital health.
Representing our team were Elisabeth Mayrhuber, Anna Lin, and Lukas Steininger. Elisabeth Mayrhuber and Lukas Steininger contributed to the scientific program with their paper “Automatic ETL Pipeline Generation for Mapping Heterogeneous Clinical Data into the OMOP Common Data Model.” Elisabeth presented the work, which addresses approaches for efficiently transforming heterogeneous clinical datasets into standardized formats and supports improved interoperability in healthcare research. In addition, Anna Lin chaired the scientific session “Scalable Health Data: Standards, Semantics, and AI Applications.”
Participation in conferences such as dHealth provides an important opportunity to present ongoing research, exchange ideas with the digital health community, and strengthen collaborations within the field.
