Sigi and Julia at the ATBI 2025
On the 23rd of September 2025, Sigi and Julia attended the Austrian Bioinformatics Workshop at the Türkenwirt (TÜWI) of BOKU University. They shared their newest findings in the field of signaling pathway simulations using machine learning models for predicting gene expression levels exemplified on the NOD-like receptor signaling pathway.
Further, they gave an insight into our LeistungsVergleich Medizin (LeiVMed) project where, in collaboration with our colleagues at Campus Steyr and the OÖG, we establish a platform to provide a transparent overview of hospital processes and use machine learning models for improving processes and reducing efforts.
Additionally, in the poster sessions, the latest progress of our SmartBeetle project, where Kathi and Susi are involved, was presented by our colleagues from SCCH.
