Sigrid at the first DS4HB Workshop 2025
From April 7th to 9th, Sigrid attended the very first Data Science 4 Health and Biology (DS4HB) workshop in Milan. It was a double first - not only the first DS4HB workshop, but also the first workshop Sigrid has ever taken part in. Excited for the experience, she presented her research on identifying key genes in signaling pathways in acute myeloid leukemia with a poster. Through tutorials and talks, she gained insights not only into her own area of genomics, but also into multi-omics, imaging, and health data.
After a few days of successful scientific exchange, Sigrid wrapped up the experience by exploring the sights of the beautiful city of Milan.
