Viktoria, Louise and Micha attended the EuBIC-MS Winter School 2024 (https://eubic-ms.org/events/2024-winter-school/) from 14th to 19th of January in Winterberg, Germany. After arriving at a very snowy conference location, Louise gave an amazing introduction to mass spectrometry-based proteomics workshop together with the PROTrEIN network (https://protrein.eu/). Viktoria was one of the main organizers of the winter school and – in retrospective – put together what is probably one of the best EuBIC events in recent years. Micha and Louise presented their research during the poster session while enjoying finger food and networking with likeminded people. Aside from exciting keynotes and interesting workshops, they also had the opportunity to sledge down one of the many hills in Winterberg and witness the live recording of The Proteomics Show (https://www.ushupo.org/Podcasts) – both on and off stage.
Overall, the EuBIC-MS Winter School 2024 was a great chance to learn about new, cutting-edge research, meet new people and reconnect with old ones. Thanks to everyone who made this happen!
