We are happy to announce that Carina Kirschner has joined the bioinformatics research group!

Carina is currently studying Data Science and Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Hagenberg. Carina will be working on a project in the field of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in cooperation with our colleagues Julia and Susi as well as our collaboration partners from the University of Salzburg. As part of this project, Carina will build on an existing basis and implement an online web platform for gene expression analysis in AML.

In addition, Carina will support our colleagues Kathi and Susi on a project in the field of Alzheimer's disease. We are excited to work in a team with Carina as we see our group grow!
