During this semester's regularly 'Stammtisch', we celebrated the existance of our study program since 20 years: in 2002, the first students started to study Bioinformatics (BIN).

While we switched names, moved from dipoma study to bachelor and masters and adapted the content of the programs to the current needs and the state-of-the-art in research, the passion and the joy of everybody involved have been a steady companion throughout all the years.

For our anniversary we were able to invite two prominent guests: our former head of study Karin Pröll and one of the first students Bernhard Knapp, who talked about former times and how everything started.

We definitely had a great time, thanks for celebrating with us!
