Louise participated in the 13^th International MaxQuant Summer School on Computational Mass Spectrometry-based Proteomics from the 5^th to the 9^th of September. The summer school consisted of keynote talks, introductory talks, hands-on tutorials, a Wikipedia hackathon and a poster session where Louise presented a poster about her research project.

Moreover, Viktoria and Louise participated in the PROTrEIN consortium meeting on the 12^th and 13^th of September. It was the first time for all of them to meet in person, which was a great meeting.
During the meeting Louise and the rest of the ESRs presented their projects and received feedback. They also discussed future events and plans for the consortium.

After the consortium meeting, Louise participated in the ‘Transdisciplinary Science Communication course’ at ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona. In this course they learned about how to make better presentations, posters, and how do the best storytelling.
