Bioinformatics Research Group at EuBIC-MS Winter School 2022

After two years of online events and conferences it was finally possible to attended in-person events again!

Micha and Louise attended the EuBIC-MS Winter School 2022 from the 21st to 24th of March in Oeiras, Portugal.
Besides going to workshops and listening to exciting talks by the keynote speakers, they both presented a poster at the poster session on the second day of the event. Micha presented his poster “Extending MS Annika for MS2-MS3-based Cross-linking Workflows” and Louise “Improving sequence tag extraction: Aspects to consider”. It was a great opportunity to meet people (in person!) in the proteomics and bioinformatics community and to get feedback and share ideas.

Viktoria was invited to be one of the keynote speakers at the winter school and had planned to give the talk “Murphy’s Law in proteomics or why can I not reproduce those numbers in the paper?”. But unfortunately, she was unable to join Micha and Louise in Portugal.

Hopefully 2022 will bring more opportunities to attend scientific events!
