Stephan and members of the HEAL research group are currently attending the EuroCAST 2017 conference in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Stephan gave a talk about fitness landscape analysis in the optimization of coefficients of curve parametrizations, which is research he did with Prof. J. Rafael Sendra at Universidad de Alcala de Henares, Madrid. Amongst others, Michael Affenzeller, Gabriel Kronberger, and Stephan also had time for detailed discussions and joint paper work with J. Ignacio Hidalgo from UCM Madrid and Dr. Carmen Paz Suárez Araujo and Dr. Patricio Garcia Báez from Universidad de Las Palmas. They also found time to network with FH-Prof. PD DI Dr. Rene Mayrhofer and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Mario Huemer from the Institute of Networks and Security, JKU and colleagues from the TU Vienna, Prof. Günther Raidl.
